Toasted turkey, brie, and cranberry sauce on a roll with fries from Dunn & Gaherin's, my favorite place. I don't go there often enough for lunch.

Just spent Friday and Saturday on Martha's Vineyard playing golf. Each day began with rain, but we did not get rained on. It seemed to stop just before we went out. Both courses were in good shape and we had a great time.
I downloaded these pictures in reverse order; the top one shows how the front passed and the sun broke out. If you can get a chance to play Farm Neck, the views are awesome.

Hi, just a greeting to all. I've been busy on blogtv.com and have forgotten to post ! Sorry !

Monday, August 27, 2007

Salad from Sudbury Farms. Rotini pasta, artichokes, cheese, tomatoes, red peppers. Peppercorn dressing completes it.

Now that Blogger accepts home video, here's a shot of my flag on July 4th on my balcony. Condo rules prohibit anything hanging off the railings, but I'm a rebel. I don't think anyone from the condo management was working the holiday anyway.

An extremely rare Saturday posting. We played golf today, and this was the dinner after. Chicken stir fry over rice pilaf. Pretty good. If I had composed the photo a little better, you would see a 22 oz draft beer next to my plate. Someone must have left it there by mistake and it looked like it might get warm so I did what had to be done.

I wonder how much time I could save if I just posted links to the photo of the LAST time I had this for lunch . . . . I'm way too predictable ! This is (of course) Moo Goo Gai Pan, Fried Rice, and Chicken Fingers. I suppose no one can blame me for eating what I like.

Tuesday, August 21, 2007

Today's lunch is a Muffaletta from Fresh City. We hadn't been there in a while (it's usually pretty busy) but I ran out early and beat the crowd.

Sunday, August 19, 2007

Sunday dinner ( I know my faithful readers get confused easily ). Flounder, baked in foil with onions, tomatoes, and mushrooms. My own idea. Also, rice pilaf and Brussels Sprouts. A light beer ( no names please ) in my "Newes from America" mug from Martha's Vineyard. Observant readers will note the new patio furniture, purchased yesterday for $199 plus tax. If I bought it last weekend tax free, it would have been $399, no tax. Hmm, am I getting smarter as I get older ? Let's hope so, 'cause I am getting older. Almost every day, it seems like.

Lunch ! Easily one of my top three favorite meals ( in no particular order, that would be Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner ). Today is what I call the mystery sandwich. We went to Panera Bread and I ordered a Turkey and Artichoke panini. This is not a panini. I see Turkey, cheese, tomato, lettuce. Of course, I will eat it anyway, because I never refuse food.

For my birthday lunch, I am having a large Sausage sub with Provolone cheese and sauce.

Monday, August 13, 2007

While I was in line at the supermarket, I saw a headline that mentioned "processed meat" and "Americans". I did not have time to read it, but I assume ( like everything ELSE ) we Americans don't get enough processed meat in our diet ! This is Bologna and cheese on wheat, with a bowl of chicken soup. I feel healthier already.

Tuesday, August 7, 2007

A large Italian sub today, with everything but "hots". I played golf yesterday and figure I need the carbs from that sub roll.

Friday, August 3, 2007

Chicken, Broccoli, Ziti, made with . . . . chicken, broccoli, and ziti ! Kind of an easy recipe, if you ask me. Not that I've ever made it.

Wednesday, August 1, 2007

I am alone in the office today so I got my favorite, Moo Goo Gai Pan with fried rice and chicken fingers. I am trying to cheer myself up because I miss my co-worker !

Tuesday, July 17, 2007

Okay, enough fooling around. Here is my salad from Sudbury Farms including lettuce, cheese, artichokes, tomatoes, pasta, and chicken. A little Creamy Caesar dressing ( alright; a LOT of dressing ) and we're done.

The past couple of days here in South Quincy have been . . . well . . . tropical ! Here is the view from my bedroom window. It's not bad, except for when the natives get restless.

Monday, July 16, 2007

Oops. This is actually Sunday night supper. Rare top round steak over rice pilaf and onions. A little fresh ground pepper and it's perfect !

Friday, July 6, 2007

A co-worker had a craving for General Gau's Chicken, so I gladly ordered that and Moo Goo Gai Pan for myself.

Friday, June 29, 2007

Since it's Friday, I'm having my traditional roast beef pocket with provolone, onion, spicy mustard. I gave up enough things for Lent this year as it is !

Friday, June 22, 2007

This is a grilled chicken salad, made with fake chicken (it's the stuff they make chicken roll out of). Doesn't matter; it's good !

Tuesday, June 12, 2007

Another salad . . . this time we have cherry tomatoes, chicken, cheese, and goat cheese ( quick: where did the goat get the cheese ? ). I don't think I have lost any weight yet, but I'll stick to salad and we'll see.

Friday, June 8, 2007

Couldn't upload yesterday, so there might be two today ( a treat for my faithful readers !). We are trying a new place, and this is their Greek salad with grilled chicken. It is absolutely wonderful. They really grill the chicken, like on a backyard grill.

Tuesday, June 5, 2007

A make-it-yourself salad from the supermarket. No one crams in as much stuff that's bad for you as I do !

Friday, June 1, 2007

For Friday I am eating Moo Goo Gai Pan with Fried Rice and Chicken Fingers from Green Tea just up the street a little way. Their food always tastes fresh. Maybe it's the oil they use.

Thursday, May 31, 2007

Salad from Sudbury Farms. No hard-boiled eggs today, but lots of other stuff. I was thinking "green" today.

Monday, May 21, 2007

Probably my favorite comfort food . . . stuffed shells and extra meatballs from Panella's. It's not real Italian, but neither am I.

Friday, May 18, 2007

Ahh . . . . salad the way I like it. Hardboiled eggs, onion, olives, and chicken. We're celebrating a birthday today too, so here's the cake !

Wednesday, May 16, 2007

We are looking at tuna with tomatoes and onion and a bowl of chicken soup. Not exactly gourmet food, but I'm not exactly a gourmet.

Tuesday, May 15, 2007

I have been sick for a week so I am following doctor's orders and taking care of myself. One of the four basic food groups must be hot dogs . . . so here are beans and franks for lunch ! I feel better already !

Thursday, May 3, 2007

My co-worker's wife works at a deli and he gave me this awesome sandwich today. The label said "Mufaleta" and I have to assume that is Italian for "delicious" 'cause this might be the best sandwich I've ever eaten !

Friday, April 20, 2007

If I'm going to continue to bring my lunch as I've done for the last three days, this is going to become a very boring blog. This is a turkey and provolone pocket and I nuked it so the cheese melted.

Wednesday, April 18, 2007

A quick snap of a bowl of Oriental noodle soup for lunch today. I ate my Syrian pocket already. Have to economise now that I'm tax poor !

Sunday, March 25, 2007

Just back from a week in Las Vegas. Walked along the Strip and took pictures of the canal inside the Venetian. The canal, with gondolas, is on the second floor ! Shows you what kind of money they make, if they can build an indoor canal that has nothing to do with gambling.

Saturday, February 24, 2007

Here's a quick lunch on a Saturday. Sausage and Pasta soup, eaten on my newly built counter.

Thursday, January 25, 2007

Lunch is from Panera Bread. I got a Turkey and Artichoke panini. It's wonderful.

Sunday, January 21, 2007

Here's an old photo, courtesy of my new scanner. That's me in front of our '62 Thunderbird, probably in 1963 at my grandmother's in Buffalo.
