I have been sick for a week so I am following doctor's orders and taking care of myself. One of the four basic food groups must be hot dogs . . . so here are beans and franks for lunch ! I feel better already !

My co-worker's wife works at a deli and he gave me this awesome sandwich today. The label said "Mufaleta" and I have to assume that is Italian for "delicious" 'cause this might be the best sandwich I've ever eaten !

If I'm going to continue to bring my lunch as I've done for the last three days, this is going to become a very boring blog. This is a turkey and provolone pocket and I nuked it so the cheese melted.

A quick snap of a bowl of Oriental noodle soup for lunch today. I ate my Syrian pocket already. Have to economise now that I'm tax poor !

Just back from a week in Las Vegas. Walked along the Strip and took pictures of the canal inside the Venetian. The canal, with gondolas, is on the second floor ! Shows you what kind of money they make, if they can build an indoor canal that has nothing to do with gambling.

Here's a quick lunch on a Saturday. Sausage and Pasta soup, eaten on my newly built counter.

Lunch is from Panera Bread. I got a Turkey and Artichoke panini. It's wonderful.

Some people say there's no such thing as a free lunch. I say "Thank God for free lunches !". This is a Greek salad from Nick's. There was a communication breakdown and they gave one of my co-workers an extra one.

I'm trying to be good today ( and making up for no supper last night ). This is a pretty typical salad for me when I'm allowed to make my own.
