Salad from Sudbury Farms. Rotini pasta, artichokes, cheese, tomatoes, red peppers. Peppercorn dressing completes it.
Now that Blogger accepts home video, here's a shot of my flag on July 4th on my balcony. Condo rules prohibit anything hanging off the railings, but I'm a rebel. I don't think anyone from the condo management was working the holiday anyway.
An extremely rare Saturday posting. We played golf today, and this was the dinner after. Chicken stir fry over rice pilaf. Pretty good. If I had composed the photo a little better, you would see a 22 oz draft beer next to my plate. Someone must have left it there by mistake and it looked like it might get warm so I did what had to be done.
I wonder how much time I could save if I just posted links to the photo of the LAST time I had this for lunch . . . . I'm way too predictable ! This is (of course) Moo Goo Gai Pan, Fried Rice, and Chicken Fingers. I suppose no one can blame me for eating what I like.
Today's lunch is a Muffaletta from Fresh City. We hadn't been there in a while (it's usually pretty busy) but I ran out early and beat the crowd.
Sunday dinner ( I know my faithful readers get confused easily ). Flounder, baked in foil with onions, tomatoes, and mushrooms. My own idea. Also, rice pilaf and Brussels Sprouts. A light beer ( no names please ) in my "Newes from America" mug from Martha's Vineyard. Observant readers will note the new patio furniture, purchased yesterday for $199 plus tax. If I bought it last weekend tax free, it would have been $399, no tax. Hmm, am I getting smarter as I get older ? Let's hope so, 'cause I am getting older. Almost every day, it seems like.
Lunch ! Easily one of my top three favorite meals ( in no particular order, that would be Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner ). Today is what I call the mystery sandwich. We went to Panera Bread and I ordered a Turkey and Artichoke panini. This is not a panini. I see Turkey, cheese, tomato, lettuce. Of course, I will eat it anyway, because I never refuse food.
For my birthday lunch, I am having a large Sausage sub with Provolone cheese and sauce.
While I was in line at the supermarket, I saw a headline that mentioned "processed meat" and "Americans". I did not have time to read it, but I assume ( like everything ELSE ) we Americans don't get enough processed meat in our diet ! This is Bologna and cheese on wheat, with a bowl of chicken soup. I feel healthier already.
A large Italian sub today, with everything but "hots". I played golf yesterday and figure I need the carbs from that sub roll.
Chicken, Broccoli, Ziti, made with . . . . chicken, broccoli, and ziti ! Kind of an easy recipe, if you ask me. Not that I've ever made it.
I am alone in the office today so I got my favorite, Moo Goo Gai Pan with fried rice and chicken fingers. I am trying to cheer myself up because I miss my co-worker !
